Love is power, Strength in numbers
"And there were his mother and father smiling at him again, and one of his grandfathers nodding happily. Harry sank down to sit on the floor in front of the mirror. There was nothing to stop him from staying here all night with his family. Nothing at all" (212).

This quote represents Harry's undying urge to be with his parents. He loves then, and they loved him. Harry's mother gave him so much love that he was immune to Voldemort's killing curse, and becomes the only person known to survive it. I like this quote because it shows that even though Harry is this famous wizard who got rid of the dark lord, he still is a little boy that misses his parent. He wants to see them more than anything in the world.

Argument: Love Can Overcome Any Form of Evil
Summary
Harry Potter is a young wizard; a very famous one, but he does not know this. He lives with his muggle (human) family because when he was a baby his parents were murdered by Voldemort, a powerful dark wizard. When he turns eleven he is sent to Hogwarts a school of magic where he learns to advance his skills. He sees a lot of new things upon entering a wizard population: a city full of wizards, new types of food and candy, all sorts of shops, and people using magic. Harry makes his first friend with a half-giant named Hagrid.
Hagrid and Harry go to diagon ally to get Harry his books and supplies. They stop by Gringots banks for Harry to get money, and Hagrid stops by another vault and pulls a small package out. The contents of the package is a mystery. He brings it back to Hogwarts and we do not see the again until the ending of the book. Harry forgets about the special package, and starts school with the other children. Harry sees in the news paper someone tried to break into the bank, but once in they steal nothing. This is odd because it is the most secure bank in the world.
Harry remembers what Hagrid said about Hogwarts: "Gringots was the safest place in the world for something you want to hide - except perhaps Hogwarts" (162). Harry accidentally stumbles upon a three headed dog guarding a trap door, he believes under the door is the secret package. He sees one of his most hated teachers, Snape with horrible bites on his leg from the three headed dog. They believe he is trying to steal it. When they are sure someone broke in they follow the perpetrator down the hatch, solving all the puzzles along the way. They find that it was actually a different teacher being possessed by Voldemort the dark wizard. The item he wanted was the Sorcerer's Stone which grants immortality and endless gold. Harry stops him and becomes a hero once again.
